Victoria Falls

Why you should visit Victoria Falls

  • View the magnificent Victoria Falls
  • Enjoy the warmth of Zimbabwean hospitality
  • For its multitude of activities

Our specialist ‘Must Do’

After visiting the Falls, have high tea on the terrace of the iconic Victoria Falls Hotel or take a helicopter flip to see things from another perspective. Curio shopping here is also a big highlight.

A little more about Victoria Falls

The town of Victoria Falls lies on the southern bank of the Zambezi River at the western end of the Victoria Falls. Although the magnificent sight of the Falls is the main reason to visit, the town is also a focal point for action-packed fun with activities including a "Flight of Angels" helicopter ride over the falls, white water river rafting, kayaking, bungee jumping, elephant back safaris and gentle sundowner cruises along the Zambezi.

When to go

The Falls are most impressive just after the rains, from May to June but later in the year up to November you will have a chance to enjoy most of the activities which are not available during the “flood” period.
