Kidepo Valley

WHY VISIT KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK

Uganda’s remotest park, bordering South Sudan, is wilderness at its most raw. Under an impossibly huge sky, this is where you can see the earths curve and we can guarantee you will have the park – and game – to yourself. Lions, leopard, cheetah, elephant, giraffe, zebra (this is Uganda’s only park where giraffe and zebra are found together), possibly Africa’s largest herds of buffalo, hartebeest, waterbuck, bushbuck, warthog… the list is endless.

  • Some of Africa’s most exclusive game viewing in one of its wildest parks
  • Head out on thrilling walks across valleys and ridges with South Sudan in the distance
  • Spend time in the company of the incredibly welcoming Karamajong people
  • Only 5% of tourists who visit Uganda make it to Kidepo – come and join the club!

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK

As if the game here was not enough, the chance to visit the Karamajong people in the region is a huge draw and as far from a contrived community visit as you can get. Imagine endless plains with no tourists, dotted with ridges and valleys begging to be explored on foot, where animals roam in a wild amphitheatre ringed by jagged mountains - if you could design your own wildlife park, it would look like this. Game drives, walking safaris, night drives, visits to Karamajong, star gazing - just take your pick.

BEYOND THE ORDINARY

Whilst Kidepo is already pretty out there, there are rumours of fly camping on the cards and those mountains are just waiting to be climbed…
