The Txai Resort is located on a 100-hectare coconut plantation surrounded by unspoiled Atlantic Rain Forest on the paradise like beach of Itacarezinho. Forty-eight kilometres North of Ilheus and 15 kms south of Itacare. Txai embodies Bahia and carries the stamp of Brazilian culture in every detail of its décor and architecture.
Built individually on stilts and surrounded by wooden decks with details in palm thatch, the bungalows are spread out around the coconut groves to ensure maximum privacy for guests. Upon waking up, one just has to sit up in bed to be surrounded by a vista of nature and the sea through the picture windows.

Txai rooms are decorated in earth tones, with king size bed, desk, sofas for reading, fridge, air conditioning, outside shower and an open air bed for massage and relaxation. The bungalows are also equipped with an outside whirlpool bath.

Facilities include a restaurant that specialises in Bahian food, Colonial style spacious lounge area, tennis courts, TV room with DVD and cable TV on a 60 inch screen and internet access. There are a large choice of activities including horse back riding, rafting, surfing lessons, water sports, mountain biking and a large 25 metre long pool perfect for swimming or relaxing around and there is a child pool beside.
