Tajikistan is beautiful and remote and with most of its land area being mountainous it offers wonderful trekking opportunities. High passes, summer pastures and the chance to relax among dramatic mountains and lakes.

The Pamir Mountains dominate the eastern part of Tajikistan where ice-covered peaks protrude into the sky at altitudes of up to 7,500m. The Fann Mountains, located just across the border from Uzbekistan offer wonderfully picturesque country to trek through with juniper forests, clouded peaks and beautiful lakes.
