The Oyster Bay Hotel opened in December 2007 and is Dar's newest exclusive boutique hotel. It is mainly used for clients who are either travelling out into the bush or onwards to Mozambique or returning from such. The hotel has eight beautiful large, high-quality rooms which all overlook the ocean and are furnished in a contemporary, minimalist style with a touch of contemporary Africa. The food is exquisite which is served at any time of day. Oyster Bay also has a lovely garden with a swimming pool and deck area. It is also within a secure walking distance of Oyster Bay shopping centre.
