





Lucy has worked in the travel industry for over 8 years, and joins Steppes after living and working in New Zealand for the last 5 years. She has travelled to several parts of South America, highlights include monkey spotting in the Amazon jungle, walking amongst the ruins at Machu Picchu, swimming with sealions in the Galapagos Islands and watching a La Boca soccer game in Buenos Aires.

What has been your most remote travel experience?
Staying in a small teahouse on the Annapurna circuit in the Himalayas
Most embarrassing travel experience?
Leaving my passport and travel documents in the safe of the hotel in Cape Town on day 1 of a 7 month trip and having to get the shuttle bus to go back for them
Essential item that you always take with you on your travels?
Duct tape, can be used for so many things!

Don't worry about the little things, take a sense of humour, some patience and enjoy the experience
