Tamarind Camp is a safari camp located on a privately owned concession just 15 minutes from the entrance to Tarangire National Park. Not being actually in the park is a major plus, meaning that many additional activities can be undertaken from the camp as well as game drives in Tarangire. Perfectly positioned in a grove of beautiful Acacia Tortilis trees, Tamarind Camp has recently been completely renewed.

The tented accommodation is luxuriously comfortable and spacious with ensuite bathrooms and exquisite hand-crafted hardwood furnishings. The tents at Tamarind Camp are extremely well spread out and mostly face the adjacent Park boundary, marked only by a tree-lined "sand river". Zebra and wildebeest are often to be seen grazing on the nearby plains and elephant and lion frequent the area around camp, as well as being regular visitors inside the camp itself!
