Susuwe Island Lodge lies within the spectacular Bwabwata National Park in northeastern Namibia. Tall riverine trees cast their protective shadow across the lodge during hot African summers, overlooking the fertile river floodplains.

Part of a joint partnership with the Mayuni Conservancy, the Susuwe Island Lodge is nestled in the heart of a pristine wilderness with the best of both worlds - and the vision to keep it as nature intended. An African river, a spectacular canopy of ancient indigenous trees and sweeping vistas across the Kalahari grasslands are the inheritance of the animals that roam here and the scattered bands of people who reside alongside them.

With just six personally attended suites overlooking the Kwando River you are assured of privacy and comfort at Susuwe Island Lodge. The suites all have double bedrooms and a bathroom with window-height tub. They also have a lounge and a private deck with plunge pool. The main complex facilities at Susuwe Island Lodge include lounge and dining areas, a reference library, a curio shop, fire pit and a double level viewing deck built into the forest canopy. Game drives, guided walks and boat trips are available to all guests.
