Sucre or the 'white city' was founded in the early 1500s and has recently been declared a UNESCO world heritage site. It is a beautiful city of white colonial buildings, flower-filled cobblestone streets and intriguing winding alleyways. The excellent ethnographic textile museum, displays a wide range of colourful local weavings and textiles from the surrounding villages, including Tarabuco, where a colourful market is held every Sunday.
A wonderful old, 18th century building with spectacular view over the city and surroundnig mountains.
Situated in the city centres a 19th century building and has a very colonial feel about it.
