Charlotte Lawton
Country Director
My strong sense of belonging in Asia stemmed from a childhood in Hong Kong and Nepal. At the first opportunity after finishing university I spent 2 years managing a jungle camp in central India and then every spare moment travelling the length and breadth of the country. Upon returning to the UK I sought a career in travel and now specialise in creating tailor made and small group itineraries to the Indian subcontinent and Asia. I travel to India at least twice each year to explore new and interesting places as well as reaffirming my knowledge of better known regions of Rajasthan and Kerala. Since working at Steppes Travel I have extended my portfolio of countries to Bhutan, Nepal, Malaysian Borneo and also North Africa.
