What has been your favourite travel experience?
I love escaping to somewhere with reliably good weather, delicious food, and wonderful people - Greece is always the reoccuring favourite.
The best hotel/lodge that you have stayed in?
I prefer self catering so we can take advantage of local cuisine and try something different each evening.
What has been your most remote travel experience?
As a child we used to stay in a caravan in the Scottish Highlands, in the middle of nowhere. I have fond memories of watching deer coming down to drink from the stream just after dusk with no other living sole around for miles.
Your one luxury when you travel?
A decent book and time out to myself.
What’s your best piece of travel advice?
Enjoy every moment, holidays never seem to last long enough.....
Where you would like to visit next and why?
I would love to visit New Zealand, and since being with Steppes Travel I am keen to also experience Africa, particularly Kenya for safari.
