Letlapala meaning 'the place of the sun' is aptly named as it is situated on one of the highest points of the reserve, basking in sun at both sunrise and sunset and providing guests with spectacular views over the Welgevonden Reserve.

Letlapala is the more intimate of the two lodges as it has a mere five double guest suites and one main lodge. In the main lodge guests can enjoy private candle-lit dinners on the viewing deck or around the fire in the traditional Boma. Every aspect at the lodge is carefully designed to seamlessly blend into the environment whilst providing wonderful comfort.
