The Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta is a stunning mountain range that stretches right down into the Caribbean Sea. On the slopes lies Ciudad Perdida (the Lost City), one of the largest pre-Columbian towns discovered in the Americas and built between the 11th and 14th centuries.
