Sandoval Lake Lodge is constructed largely of ecologically harvested "driftwood" mahogany from the Manu River. Orinallaly built to protect the Giant Otters the location of the Sandoval Lake Lodge, overlooking the lake is ideal for observing the otters and other endangered wildlife that inhibit the lake and surrounding forrests.
Sandoval Lake lodge is one extended structure consisting of a large main dining room and lounge with comfy chairs and 25 double-occupancy rooms (50 beds) arranged in two wings. Each room has a private bathroom with shower and hot water. There is also a bar area and small library with a TV and video for watching wildlife videos. The Sandoval Lake Lodge is relatively simple, as you would expect in the jungle, however the views and location are stunning.
