Intimate and elegant, the 120-foot 'Safari Quest' is an uncommon yacht for the uncommon traveller. The fortunate few who choose to sail aboard Safari Quest experience the ultimate in yachting, as opposed to cruising. Designed for the relaxation and comfort of just 20 discerning guests, she's the ideal way to experience Alaska's intriguing Inside Passage.
In contrast to travelling the well-worn channels from which the large ships cannot stray, the small, agile Safari Quest has an explorer's spirit and you'll leave the busy cruise routes as quickly as possible to explore the quieter backwaters in peace and privacy
In port or at anchor, the possibilities are endless. Paddle in a placid cove on one of the yacht's eight double sea kayaks or float aboard the 12-passenger inflatable keeled tender amid impossibly blue icebergs. Walk on a wilderness beach, stroll along a boardwalk in a quaint fishing village, or just relax on board. Wildlife is a major focus on these trips, and it's an awe-inspiring experience to chance upon a bear or a deer. When humpbacks or orcas appear, you will stop to enjoy the show.
Safari Quest offers accommodation in three cabin categories, all charmingly decorated and equipped with private bathrooms with showers, small closet areas, individual temperature controls and VCRs. The salon has a bar and comfortable seating, the perfect place for an informal recap of the day's events with your expedition leader, while the topside Observation Deck offers the "best seats in the house" for outdoor sightseeing & a hot tub for unforgettable star gazing.
The food on board, as you would expect, is also excellent with meals served together in a convivial and informal setting.
