Olinda is a beautiful World Heritage city and old capital founded in the 16th century. It sits on a hill overlooking Recife and the Atlantic Ocean. It is one of Brazil's best-preserved colonial cities, a charming place to wander along the winding cobbled streets, browsing and exploring the boutique shops and handicraft stalls.
