Begin your journey in Delhi staying overnight at The Imperial Hotel, a wonderful old colonial hotel that is steps away from the major shopping districts and tourist attractions. Delhi created by Hindu, Muslim and British builders, can transport you in a few minutes from the neo-classical architecture of one of the most beautiful and elegant garden cities of the world, to the ancient, twisting lanes that surround Chandi Chowk -'Moonlight Square'.

Continue on to Agra to visit the magnificent Taj Mahal seen at its best early morning or with the sun setting at the end of the day. While in Agra you will stay in one of the finest hotels in India with one of the worlds seven modern wonders just out the window, there is little competition. The great tomb that is Taj Mahal built by the great Moghul Shah Jahan's 20,000 workers in 1630 is a marvel to see at sunrise or sunset.

You are then driven to Amanbagh, the newest additions to the Aman Resorts hotels in India within easy distance of Jaipur. Set within a walled oasis, the resort echoes the region's Moghul architecture and provides the opportunity to witness first hand the traditions and culture of rural India. Known as the 'Pink City' Jaipur was founded in the early 18th century. The city is surrounded by a crenulated wall with seven gates and boasts hundreds of lovely mansions and palace apartments that line the broad avenues and tiny side streets, each one constructed in a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal style.

You end your honeymoon at Devigarh the 18th century Fort Palace, in the village of Delwara. After years of restoration the Devigarh has become a spectacular Heritage property with its 21st century design and intimate service where the past meets the future.

Udaipur is just a stones throw away, nestling like a gem in a valley surrounded by the green Aravalli hills, reflected smooth and white in clear blue of Lake Pichola. Its in many ways one of the most picturesque royal cities of the state of Rajasthan.
