Raj Angan, Siolim

In northern Goa, away from the popular beahes of Candolim and Baga, the pretty town of Siolim has more Goans and fewer tourists. From here it is easy to visit remote beaches running all the way from Morjim to the estuary of the Tiracol River just ten minutes away. Raj Angan, over 200 years old and painted bright blue, is arguably the most luxurious property in the far north of Goa.

The villa is structured around a characteristic central courtyard and has been restored and renovated in keeping with the old colonial style, with vibrant and modern European touches added by its German owners. Although the first floor is dedicated entirely to the master suite with balconies and terraces, the rest of the house is also extremely spacious and light, and opens out onto a very large garden dominated by a beautiful swimming pool and white pool house.

Various trips and excursions are regularly organised for guests at Raj Angan, as well as overnight sightseeing trips to Hampi. Yoga classes at the pool house and sessions with a private astrologer can be arranged. The house, garden and swimming pool have been designed for families with small children.

The property is approximately a one hour and twenty minute drive from Goa airport.
