Namibia safari holidays
Our Travel Experts, Katie and Millie, have just returned from a Namibia safari holiday. Read about Katie's experience in
On Location and read about Millie's experience
here.
Known as a country on fire, Namibia is famed for its ever-changing colours and dramatic landscape. A Namibia safari is a photographer's paradise, the landscape is constantly altered by the elements, changing from burning orange at day to silver at night.
A Namibia safari holiday should include the
Caprivi Strip and
Etosha, Namibia's prime game viewing area, where elephant mingle with rhino, cheetah, leopard and lion in a harsh desert environment. In the north is the appropriately named
Skeleton Coast, while some of the highest sand dunes in the world are towards the south in Sossusvlei Park.
You are bound to return from your Namibia holiday with many fantastic images etched in your memory.
A great way to see Namibia is from the air: join a flying safari over Namibia's vast panoramas and shimmering deserts
Or alternatively hire a 4x4 and explore the austere beauty of Namibia at your own pace
Visa not required by UK passport holders
No mandatory vaccinations required
