The Pousada do Amparo is a lovely hotel with twelve apartments situated in the heart of the old town. It is two perfectly restored Eighteenth Century houses, the families' labour of love. The main house is set on a hillside with brilliant panoramic views over the ocean and Recife in the background.

Pousada do Amparo has been elegantly furnished in a period style. The 12 apartments are elegantly furnished and spacious. Some have a veradah overlooking the Ocean some have a Jacuzzi depending on the standard of room. Also in the Pousada is a swimming pool, generous beautiful gardens and an art gallery.
