There is much in Cambodia to explore from its spacious capital, Phnom Penh, with its wide tree lined boulevards, to the remote temple complexes at places like Banteay Chhmar and Sambor. Whilst, on the whole, the infrastructure remains poor, a good road now links Phnom Penh with Siem Reap, but you may prefer to take the boat or fly.

The seaside town of Sihanoukville is slowly being developed, towns with colonial style architecture such as Battambang are being visited and river journeys can be made to see freshwater dolphins.
