There are around one and a half million nomads living in Iran today, following a traditional way of life on the verdant high pastures. Migrating between summer and winter pastures they maintain a simple lifestyle grazing their animals and making traditional blankets, shoes and bags. Distinctive for their traditional and colourful costumes and black goat hair tents they are a proud and independent people known for their hospitality. This holiday explores the plains where the Bakhtiyari and Qashghaye nomads live.
