Libya open for US
US Citizens will once again be able to obtain a tourist visa on entry to Libya as of 20th May 2010
The decision to stop issuing visas to Americans was made in 2009 and with an overnight ban, officials were forced to turn away holiday makers at the sea and air ports. The move came in retaliation to the United States ban on Libyan Nationals entering the US.
