World Population Day 2010

Tom Harari

This Sunday, 11 July, is world Population Day. On that day back in 1987 the World’s Population officially reached 5 billion so the UN decided to mark the occasion. 23 years later and the world’s added a couple more billion to its ranks. With 7.5 million people in London, over 10 million in Paris, 20 million people in New York and over 30 million people in Tokyo things can sometimes feel claustrophobic.

Why not get away from it and join us as we track tigers and snow leopards in India or gorillas in Rwanda. Take a trip into the Amazon and meet the Huaorani people of Ecuador or look for jaguars in the Brazilian Pantanal. Or get off the beaten path on any of our other distinctive trips.
