Face+the+tallest+mountain+in+Africa+
Tanzania is not a country that travellers need be convinced to visit, particularly now its largest natural attraction has come top in a list of exotic hotspots.

Newspaper USA Today said that Mount Kilimanjaro in north-eastern Tanzania is the best location to head for an exotic adventure in a list compiled by travel experts.

Towering at 19,336 feet, Africa's tallest mountain, with its snow capped peak, has long been regarded as one of the most extraordinary sites on the continent.

Views from the peak are awe-inspiring and it is easy to see why thousands of adventurers flock to the mountain each year bear witness to its splendour.

Wildlife is also abundant in the area, so much so that four national parks have been established within the vicinity of the mountain.

One of the most beautiful of these is Kilimanjaro National Park – covering 753 square kilometres of the mountain – which has been named UNESCO World Heritage site.

The park plays host to numerous endangered species who roam the three volcanic peaks Kibo, Mawenzi and Shira.
