Renowned as one of the best places to party on the planet, Rio De Janiro, Brazil's second largest city, is a must see for any intrepid traveller.

For those looking for a more peaceful trip to the city, a detour to the Tijuca Forest comes highly recommended.

It is the largest urban forest in the world and includes the stunning Cascatinha Waterfall, the Excelsior Lookout Point and Fairy Lake.
