With the 2008 Olympics just months away, China is fast becoming one of the most popular destinations for UK travellers.
The city of Beijing is expected to be awash with tourists this summer who will be hoping to catch some sporting action as well as explore the wonders of this exotic and historic country.
Away from the hustle and bustle of the capital, there are plenty of ways to relax, particularly now that a new, small luxury cruise ship is to be introduced onto the Yangtze River.
This month, Sanctuary Cruising will launch the 124-passenger vessel which comes complete with luxury suites and cabins, a spa, viewing lounge and theatre area.
Around £6 million has been spent on revamping the Yangzi Explorer turning it into one of the most attractive and ideal ways of travelling through China.
Sanctuary Cruising marketing manager Allison Burnett told Travel Weekly: "It's a really good cruising option for the UK travellers.
"Also with the Olympics next year, it is the perfect time for us to launch the ship."
