Namibia HoneymoonNamibia is situated on
Africa's southwest coast and, with its rugged scenery and landscapes, is a gem for those in search of wilderness. Essentially a desert country, Namibia offers contrasting landscapes with the ancient
Namib Desert, rugged mountains, open plains and the majestic
Fish River Canyon in the south. Although the distances are great, the country has one of the best infrastructures in Africa. Today Namibia has enjoyed over a decade of stability and

Namibia Honeymoon Camps Wolwedans Private CampThis stunning camp is situated in
NamibRand, one of Southern Africa's largest private nature reserves - a region that offers a staggering diversity of
desert landscapes, synonymous with some of Africa's most breathtaking locations.
For a true secluded retreat,
Wolwedan's Private Camp offers a splendid villa which caters for up to four guests exclusively in its private and
idyllic valley.
There are two spacious en-suite rooms, a sala for siestas, various decks and a central living area encompassing dining area and open-plan kitchen... all with uninterrupted views of the surrounding landscape.
Relax away from it all in total privacy, or enjoy scenic drives, flights,
hot air ballooning or nature walks either by yourselves, or with the other lodge guests.
Little KulalaThis acclaimed
desert retreat, situated in the private 21,000 hectare
Kulala Wilderness Reserve, is the only reserve with direct access to Namibia's extraordinary
Sossusvlei area.
Set amongst camel thorn trees on the dry Auab riverbed, the 11 thatch villas are each climate controlled and boast exquisite fittings and fixtures. Neutral colours merge throughout to reproduce the hues of the surrounding desert. For romantic nights of
stargazing, each villas has a rooftop "skybed", while for cooling down during the day, the villa's bleached deck leads to a private plunge pool.
Enjoy game drives and walks on the private reserve, or a
balloon safari far above the desert followed by a champagne breakfast on the ground.
Little OngavaPerched on the crest of a hill in the private 30,000 hectare
Ongava Game Reserve, with only three luxurious suites, Little Ongava is arguably one of Namibia's most
exclusive camps.
Each spacious, private suite boasts its own
plunge pool, en-suite bathroom, sala and outdoor shower.
The main areas have panoramic views of the waterhole below the camp and offers plenty of space for dining either "al fresco" or under thatch, depending on your mood.
From here you can enjoy walks on the reserve and game drives or daytrips in the easily accessible
Etosha National Park to find lion, elephant and black and white rhino.
Serra CafemaOne of the most remote and certainly one of the most luxurious camps in southern Africa,
Serra Cafema is located in the extreme north-west of Namibia. Set on the banks of the
Kunene River, the camp shares the area with the Himba people, amongst the last true
nomads in Africa.
Eight canvas and
thatched chalets are raised off the ground, each with their own en-suite bathroom. A terrace, complete with hammock, provides the perfect area for dosing off, listening to the sounds from the river below the camp.
From here you can explore one of the driest deserts in the world, traversing the sand,
boating on the river, walking in remote valleys or enjoy guided quad-bike excursions on the dunes.
