With over 1,200 miles of shore line and 25 miles in breadth at its widest point, few people appreciate the size and scale of this vast man-made lake. Known for its excellent tiger fishing and sensational sunsets, as well as the large herds of animals that drink from its waters, the lake can be seen either from the comfort of a luxury motor cruiser or from one of the many lodges on its shore. On the east, Matusadona Park is home to what is considered to be the second largest concentration of lion in Africa and walking safaris in the rugged mountains are a constant source of excitement!
Sanyati Lodge is situated on the southeastern shores of Lake Kariba at the mouth of the Sanyati Gorge and adjacent to the Matusadona National Park.
