Located in the heart of the wild Masoala Peninsula, Masoala Forest Lodge is a rustic bush camp where nature still reigns in all its glory. Set behind golden beaches in a small clearing of the vast rainforest are five 'African Safari' tents positioned on wooden decks with hammocks for those afternoon siestas.
The main communal living area at Masoala Forest Lodge where you can find books and games is made from local Malagasy wood. Bathrooms and toilet huts are a short walk from the tents and equipped to a European standard. Meals at Masoala Forest Lodge are a blend of 'Swiss - Malagasy - Rainforest cuisine with fresh fish and local produce. Activities include walks (day and night) in the primary rainforest, guided sea kayaking, and snorkelling, whale watching and fishing.
