At the end of an unforgettable game drive, experience the well-known hospitality of Mashatu Main Camp. Enjoy dinner around the fire in the lala palm boma under a canopy of a million stars, overlooking the flood-lit waterhole. Unwind around the pool or relax on the thatched verandah, and experience the unparallelled hospitality and service for which Mashatu is renowned. Mashatu is a refuge of unparalleled "bushveld" comfort and service, blending in harmoniously with the savannah that teems with wildlife. Mashatu, situated in the far eastern corner of Botswana, bordering South Africa, is the largest of the world-renowned Rattray reserves and by far the biggest privately owned game reserve in southern Africa. Mashatu's two camps, namely Mashatu Main Camp and Mashatu Tented Camp, offer a choice in the degree of luxury. The superior rooms of Mashatu Main Camp promise unassuming luxury and the tents of Mashatu Tented Camp provide an elegant bush experience. At both the hospitality and attention to detail want for nothing.
Mashatu Tented Camp consists of 7 twin bedded tents, open en suite shower, flush toilet and hot and cold running water. Here you will find a plunge pool, dining terrace and a boma for dinner under the stars. Each camp has its own open four wheel drive vehicles and experienced game rangers and trackers to walk or drive with you through the African bush.
