The epitome of luxury in the heart of the exclusive Palmeraie district, fifteen minutes outside the Medina, Manzar al Jamil is a newly built villa which merges warm traditional Moroccan architecture with sophisticated contemporary design. From its terraces and large arabesque windows, the villa opens its view onto the Atlas Mountains and the Jebelet range, running north and south of Marrakech. The two main terraces which give off the first floor drawing room each face one of these directions beyond the seven acre gardens.

The house is accessed through a two towered gatehouse and along a palm lined drive winding across the lakes and leading to the main entrance through a loggia. The main hall and high vaulted gallery lead to the plush salon. The dining room is furnished with antiques and tapestries and like all other rooms boasts an open fireplace for warm winter evenings. Numerous tranquil courtyards adorned by Moorish fountains are scattered throughout the house and provide ideal outdoor eating areas, as does the elegant poolside gazebo and the traditional Caidal Tent, the host of many exciting Moroccan soirées.

Each of the four bedrooms has its own loggia as well as an ensuite marble inlaid bathroom and open fireplace. The magnificent vaulted master bedroom also opens onto a spacious dressing room, 'his' and 'hers' bathrooms and glorious terraces overlooking the gardens.
