Kenya Honeymoon Itinerary Day 1Depart on the British Airways flight to
Nairobi and your overnight stay at the
House of Waine.
Day 2Today you will be transferred to Wilson to fly to
Little Shompole where you will be met and driven the short distance to the lodge.
Days 3 - 4The variety of landscape available at
Shompole allows for a great range of activities from early morning and evening walks, river kayaking trips, night drives, sundowner visits to
Lake Natron to see the flamingos and romantic picnics.
Day 5Fly to the
Masai Mara where you will be met and driven to Cottars Camp.
Days 6 - 7Two full days to enjoy the facilities and luxuries of this
romantic 1920's style safari camp.
Day 8Today you will fly to
Lamu and transfer to Manda Bay.
Days 9 - 12Surrounded by magnificent
coral gardens, empty beaches and indigenous woodland,
Manda Bay Resort is a glorious place to completely unwind or enjoy birdwatching and watersports including fantastic
scuba diving.
Day 13Transfer to Lamu Airport where you will fly to Wilson Airport and on to Heathrow with British Airways.

Kenya Honeymoon Camps Cottars 1920s Mara Safari CampThis elegant
1920's style camp is situated in the
Masai Mara, bordering the
Serengeti and
Loliondo reserves in an untouched 250,000 acre exclusive concession providing the discerning client a guarantee of privacy and an abundance of wildlife. Voted winner of the

Cottars Safari Camp is not only stylish and comfortable but aims to give its visitors a very unique encounter with Africa.
The camp accommodates up to
12 clients in authentic white canvas tents. All are spacious and luxuriously furnished and incorporate original
safari antiques from the '20's. Each boasts a main bedroom, private en suite dressing room and bathroom (with old-fashioned showers and flushing toilets) and an outdoor veranda. Offering every comfort and phenominal views this

Joy's CampBuilt on the site of
Joy Adamson's tented home, this beautiful camp lies in
Shaba National Reserve, Northern Kenya, an area of arid landscape dotted with lush springs and rocky, river gauges.
Uniquely decorated with the vibrant fabrics of local
nomadic tribes. Ten chic canvas bedrooms are raised off the ground overlooking a large natural spring frequented by a multitude of game including: elephant, lion, buffalo, Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe and zebra. Each en suite room has its own private verandah ideal for
game viewing.
Looking out to the dramatic backdrop of
Shaba Hill, the terrain is perfect for game drives and the camp perfectly situated for visits to the local people of
Magado Crater, trips to the local singing wells or for bush meals along the
Ewaso Nyiro River and gorge. For a less energetic afternoon, lounge by the pool watching animals passing through the bushy wetland area beyond.
Elsa's KopjeThe hidden
jewel in the untamed wilderness of Meru National Park, the camp is built on the site of
George Adamson's first campsite and named after Elsa the lioness who featured in the book and film
"Born Free".
All nine luxurious cottages are individually designed to offer complete
privacy with panoramic views. For even more privacy there is a private two bedroom house complete with sitting room, dining room and
pool.
With stunning views over Meru's landscape Giant Baobabs and palms interspersed with lush springs and rivers, trips from the camp will bring you into contact with the rare northern desert species of Beisa oryx, Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, lesser kudu as well as elephant,
lion,
cheetah and
leopard. Explore this landscape with guided bush walks, game drives and night game drives. Of course, bush breakfasts and bush sundowners are a must!

ShompoleOverlooking the sweeping grass plains, acacia woodland and volcanic mountains of the
Great Rift Valley, Shompole is a magical destination.
Each room is positioned to make the most of the
