Day 1Depart Heathrow Terminal 4 on the British Airways flight to Nairobi, flying overnight.
Day 2On arrival you will be met and transferred to
Ngong House. Although only 20 minutes from Nairobi this beautiful, luxurious home stay gives the impression you are out in the African Bush. Guests stay in one of five imaginative wooden tree houses facing the distinctive
Ngong Hills. These are not any ordinary tree houses! They are double storied, fantastic creations with superb attention to detail and every comfort imaginable. All are spacious (75 sq m), well-spaced and hidden from each other by plenty of natural bush. One of the tree houses is lower and requires less climbing. Another is suitable for families as it can accommodate two extra beds. Guests have full use of the 10 acre grounds, including the swimming pool and adjoining bar and dining room. Breakfast and lunch can be served on the shady lawns; cocktails are served by the campfire and dinner is served in an open sided thatched building with a fireplace, lit with candles.

Karen Blixen's House, the Giraffe Centre and
Daphne Sheldrick's animal orphanage.

Day 5This morning you will fly to
Nanyuki and then on to
Sabuk. Sabuk is remote and beautiful, an alluring haven on the edge of the Northern Frontier District. Its five double guest cottages overlook the Ewaso Nyiro River and the plains of
Laikipia towards
Mount Kenya. The region nurtures exceptional wildlife and cultural diversity, home to many communities including the Laikipiak Maasai and the Samburu tribes. Around Sabuk the area is wild and hilly, with dense acacia bush, Greater Kudu, Reticulated Giraffe, buffalo, impala, elephant, klipspringer, zebra, eland, dikdik, waterbuck, lion, leopard, great bird-watching and incredible scenery. Enjoy walks along the river, accompanied by the local Laikipiak Maasai guides, picnics in the shade by the river, a refreshing dip in the natural rock pools below camp or just basking on the main deck overlooking the plains. Sabuk is also the base for full walking and camel safaris.

Day 8Today you will fly to Mara and travel on to
Elephant Pepper Camp. This traditional safari camp is idyllic; shaded by an indigenous forest of mature trees the camp looks out on an endless vista of plains, game and the open plains characteristic of the world's most sought after game reserve. The six traditional safari tents are very comfortable and spacious with en-suite hot showers, washroom and dressing area. Here you leave the modern world behind and relax with nature, evenings bathed in the soft light of hurricane lamps, no generators, no vehicles passing, just the sights and sounds of the bush...

Day 11Today you will be transferred to the Mara Airstrip for your flight to Wilson and on to
