Combine a week in Petit Loango National Park with a week in Ivindo National Park. Possibly end with some R&R in São Tomé.

A suggestion for Loango is:

Day 1
Fly to Omboué where you will be met and transferred by boat to Petit Ewengué Ewango. Visit the charming Mission of Saint Anne, with its famous metallic church designed by Gustav Eiffel, before floating down the Mpivié River. Hemmed in on both banks by a wall of vegetation and huge trees, the Mpivié is a bird watcher's paradise.In the late afternoon transfer to Loango Lodge and overnight.
Day 2
A full day to explore the region through a number of game drives. Situated between the Nkomi and Ndogo lagoons, Loango is the jewel of Africa's western coast. The area has over 100 kilometres of uninhabited coast. This is the most beautiful spot on Africa's western coast where forests, savannas, wetlands, lagoons and ocean come together. Within its savannah forest mosaic grassland, Loango has elephant, buffalo, hippo and gorilla venturing on the white beachfront, a unique sight in the world. There is also the largest concentration and variety of whales and dolphins after South Africa. Humpback Whales and even Killer Whales are easily observable from July until September.
Day 3
Today you will have a full day boat trip exploring the lagoon and more particularly the Ngové River. This river hosts a wealth of wildlife and birdlife, especially in the dry season from June to August. Overnight at the satellite camp of Akaka on a full board basis. Akaka offers the real bush-experience.
Day 4
Today return to Loango Lodge and overnight on a full board basis
Day 5
In the morning enjoy a short forest walk, learning about the flora and fauna and some of the local uses of the plants. After lunch drive through the gallery savannah forest mosaic to Tassi, en route you may see elephant, buffalo and mangabeys. Tassi is a basic research camp set back a hundred metres from the beach. Here you may hope to see elephants and buffalo on the beach! Overnight Tassi beach camp on a full board basis
Day 6
Today return to Loango Lodge and overnight on a full board basis.
Day 7
In the morning transfer to Omboué and fly to Libreville.
