Lebanese MezzeLebanese Dancers
Prior to the war, which engulfed this tiny country in the early 70s, Lebanon was indeed the Paris of the east. Sophisticated and cosmopolitan it has beaches and ski resorts less than an hour apart. Today the rebuilding of Beirut is practically complete and much of the lifestyle and vibrancy associated with Lebanon is returning. There are several superb hotels to choose from both inside and outside the city and while a trip to Lebanon can be made on it's own, it is, of course, easily combined other countries such as Syria or Jordan. Some of the world's oldest towns line Lebanon's coast: the ancient harbour of Byblos, with its attractive yellow stone walls and red tile roofs, and Tripoli, which as the name suggests, is three districts in one city. Inland, one must visit the glorious palace at Beiteddine, the remains at Anjar and, of course, no trip to Lebanon would be complete without a visit to the gigantic and magnificent temples at Baalbeck. In the spring Lebanon plays host to international music festivals and some concerts are even performed at Baalbeck itself.

All of our itineraries are tailor-made, a suggestion is...

Day 1 Fly London/Beirut
Day 2 Beirut, Beiteddine
Day 3 Byblos, Tripoli
Day 4 Beqaa Valley, Baalbeck, Anjar
Day 5 Fly London

Prices for a similar itinerary would start from approximately £1200 per person
