The Victoria Falls are the most spectacular from the Zambian side where the full extent of their size and grandeur can be appreciated. Your travels will take you from the falls, through the north-western tip of Zimbabwe into Botswana. During the months of July to October you will be able to witness a steady infiltration of vast herds of elephant as they move north into the Linyanti area and to the great swamps of the Linyanti River. In this area you will also find the famous Savuti Channel. A dry alluvial riverbed in which the sweetest grass grows so that it can sustain an amazingly diverse population of species. From the regions of the Chobe and Linyanti you will move to the wonder that is the Okavango Delta. The rains in northern Botswana should fall between November and May and in the subsequent months the water fill s the dry channels of the Delta. Starting in the North and fanning towards the south hence supporting one of the world's most symbiotic ecological systems. This is where you will see more game animals than you have ever imagined and will return with an imprint of a true wilderness.
