Day 1Depart UK for your overnight flight to Delhi.
Day 2 Arrive in Delhi and transfer to
The Oberoi Delhi.
Day 3This morning you will have a half day private tour of
New Delhi. Your visit will include;
India Gate,
Rashtrapati Bhawan - the palatial residence of the former Viceroy of India,
Humayun's beautiful garden tomb and the impressive 239ft sandstone tower of
Qutub Minar.
Later children will have the opportunity to visit the
Appu Ghar Amusement Park.
Day 4Today enjoy a visit to
Old Delhi with its ancient monuments, narrow streets and bustling bazaars. Your tour will include the hauntingly beautiful
Red Fort,
Jama Masjid - the greatest mosque in India and Rajghat - the simple memorial to
Mhatma Gandhi.
This evening you will revisit the Red Fort for a spectacular sound and light show.
Day 5 Your journey will continue by train to
Jaipur and the
Samode Haveli Hotel. This 200 year-old hotel is one of the more spectacular authentic examples of a wealthy merchant's house and boasts some fabulous frescoes and murals. The hotel is a little haven, the staff gentle and caring and yet you will only be a "stones throw" from the bustling city streets of Jaipur.
Day 6This morning you will visit Jaipur's famous
Amber Fort. Take time to admire your surroundings which look down onto
Lake Maota before returning to your hotel and an afternoon at leisure.
Day 7After breakfast you and your family will drive out of Jaipur to
Dera Amer for an elephant safari through the
Rajasthani countryside!
This afternoon enjoy a dance and puppet show with dinner and music.
Day 8Drive to
Agra for a stay at the
Taj View Hotel and a chance to visit the world famous
Taj Mahal.
Day 9Your day will start with a tour of Agra and the staggering
Taj Mahal. Over 73 meters high and having taken 20,000 workers to complete, this impressive tomb is entirely clothed with a veneer of fine white marble and changes colour from dawn through to dusk.
Later today you will be driven 5 hours to Delhi. A train option is also available from Jaipur, travelling in 1st class, this train departs in the evening, arriving 2 hours later in Delhi.

Day 10Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.

Cochin and meet your transfer to the
Taj Malabar Hotel. This evening you will enjoy a relaxing cruise around the harbour.
Day 3This morning you will be collected for your private sightseeing tour of
Cochin. For centuries seafarers and traders from Arabia, China and Europe have landed in Cochin leaving their impression on the town. Chinese fishing nets sway in the breeze over backwaters while the Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace and Boghatty Palace are all there for you to visit.
This afternoon you will enjoy a traditional puppet show.
Day 4Experience a night on a rice barge with a cruise exploring the small rural canals giving you time to see local village life.
Day 5 Disembark at
Coconut Lagoon for your overnight stay. This is a very family friendly hotel with plenty of activities for children to enjoy.
Day 6Continue on to
Munnar and
The Hornbill Camp for the next two nights. This tented camp blends in with the jungle and offers views of the river Periyar and the bird and wildlife that visit its shores.
Day 7 A full day to enjoy kayaking, trekking and bird watching.
Day 8Drive to
Marari Beach Resort. Fifty-two cottages are separated from the sea by stretching palms, the perfect place for exploring the local fishing villages or relaxing in the sunshine at the end of your tour.
Day 9 At leisure at
Marari Beach Resort.
Day 10Transfer to Cochin airport for your return flight to the UK.
