A fusion of two cultures, this is a city with something to offer everyone. From great shopping to accessible beaches, local history and culture to sky scraping modern architecture, a wide choice of restaurants and cuisines and an atmospheric nightlife. It is also a good option for families, with its Zoological and Botanical gardens, Ocean park and the recently opened Disneyland on Lantau island.

Hong Kong has changed very little since the handover of the territory from Britain to China in 1997 and is commonly known as one country with two systems as it still retains its own currency and has different policies to the rest of the country.

Easy to get around with English widely spoken it's a city well worth devoting a few days to either at the beginning or the end of a trip to China.
