Hato Piñero, situated in the central llanos (plains) of Venezuela, is a cattle ranch and nature preserve bordered by three rivers and a range of mountains, where hundreds of species of wild animals run free. Hato Piñero represents the first successful undertaking in Venezuela which combines private conservation and biological research initiatives with an ecotourism enterprise.
Hato Pinero accommodation is in simple but comfortable and spotless double rooms, each with its own bathroom. There is no hot water as the cold water already comes warm out of the tap due to its hot climate.
