Hacienda Xcanatun (Tall Stone House in Maya) is small luxury hotel located just north of the town of Merida, in the heart of the Maya world. Originally an 18th Century working hacienda, it fell into ruin to finally be returned, after five years of arduous restoration, to a well-deserved opulence.

Hacienda Xcanatun's 18 Suites are surrounded by three acres of tropical gardens, ponds and fountains. They are lavishly furnished in an English Colonial style, with spacious bathrooms. Many of the rooms also have large verandas with Yucatecan hammocks and a patio with an outdoor Jacuzzi.

The Casa de Piedra Restaurant and Bar are furnished in a Caribbean Colonial decor with an antique bar. The menu is excellent and comprises of an international - Caribbean Haute Cuisine with Yucatecan specialties.
