Situated near the walled town of Campeche, Hacienda Uayamon was built in 1700 as a wood-dye factory and is a perfect example of colonial architecture with high ceilings, elegant decor and spacious public areas. Each of its twelve luxurious freestanding casitas features exquisite accommodation, a terrace and private garden.
Hacienda Uayamon has an excellent restaurant serving international cuisine and a unique swimming pool. The Hacienda, while being close to the fascinating town of Campeche is also within easy reach of Edzna, one of the most intriguing of the Maya sites in Mexico.
In 2001 Hacienda Uayamon was awarded the Conde Nast Traveller "Hot List" award.
