Hacienda Pinsaqui was constructed in 1790. This uniquely restored colonial hacienda was originally a textile workshop, employing at one time 1000 local weavers and spinners. Hacienda Pinsaqui with all its history is located 5 Kms. north of Otavalo, perfectly situated for visiting the attractions of the area, with a spectacular view of the volcano Mt. Imbabura. Hacienda Pinsaqui facilities include 16 luxuriously appointed suites with fireplace, restaurant, 200 year old garden with lake, horseback riding, mountain biking and historic chapel.
