Falklands Holidays
Situated in the far-flung southern reaches of the Atlantic, The Falkland Islands are a remote yet unique group of islands. Made up of two larger and over 700 smaller islands, farming, fishing, wool production and, more recently, tourism are the main industries of the Falklands. The number of birds that can be found here is spectacular and includes at least five species of penguin, the wandering albatross and the crested and striated Caracaras.
The marine life, best enjoyed by boat, is equally impressive with whales, orcas, dolphins and numerous types of seals cavorting in the icy waters.
In addition to the incredible wildlife, The Falklands will always be remembered as the resting place of many service men. There are a number of locally led visits to the war graves and landing sites.
These islands are untamed and remote, and are especially suited to the wildlife and bird enthusiast. However, whilst The Falklands can be visited on their own, they combine equally well with either a cruise to Antarctica or a visit to Chile.
As well as land-based exploration of this fascinating wild swept archipelago, we also offer a range of expeditionary cruises of The Falkland's, typically combined with South Georgia and Antarctica.
These small ship cruises are an excellent way to access the best of The Falkland's Islands rich wildlife and history. For further details and departure dates, please
