Kwandwe, the newest jewel in CC Africa's crown, is a 61000 hectare private game reserve immensely rich in history and abundant natural beauty.

Today Kwandwe, which means "Place of the Blue Crane", has undergone an intensive restocking and restoration programme, where over 7 000 head of game have been successfully reintroduced. This is the miracle of Kwandwe, where elephant herds roam again, and the Big Five, including black and white rhino are once more at home in this remarkably diverse and fascinating region.

Kwandwe is in a malaria-free Eastern Cape wilderness and the main Lodge is set along the lush banks of the Great Fish River overlooking riverine slopes studded with euphorbia and aloes.
