No other hotels exist on the island, so the island remains an exclusive and private refuge for Fregate Island guests only. There are only 16 villas built on the island with commanding views over the ocean, located directly above cliffs. Two of Fregate Island private villas have been built with families in mind, standing on sheltered meadows whilst other villas are situated on the coastline. Each villa has a living room, large bedroom and two bathrooms and is decorated with hand carved wood, Thai silk and Egyptian cotton, with antiques and Asian artwork adding a personal touch.
The main restaurant serves a la Carte breakfast and gourmet cuisine with a breathtaking view of the ocean. Creole delicacies are served in the carefully restored Seychelles Plantation House, which is also a museum. The nine beautiful beaches of Fregate Island offer swimming, snorkelling, scuba diving, deep sea fishing and other water sports, while a fresh water swimming pool is centrally situated between the villas, integrated into a natural rock basin. The hotel also has a fitness centre, library and playground.
