The camp is located on the edge of a beautiful lagoon where the ever present and highly vocal hippos wallow. Each tent is shaded by magnificent evergreen trees including African ebony and magosteen. Both lions and wild dogs are often seen in the area and the variety of plains game includes kudu, tssebe, zebra, and impala. Depending on the flood level you'll be able to take a ride in a mokoro (dugout canoe), in which you travel through the maze of channels winding their way through the papyrus and water lilies.
