Antarctica - cruise

Minkes are normally shy and timid but these two were quite the exception, diving under the zodiac and even gently nudging it. Having a 30 foot, six ton whale so close was absolutely extraordinary.

Antarctica - fly and cruise

I got off the plane in Antarctica, wide-eyed in amazement at the scenery and the cold. It was 2°C in Punta Arenas and -22°C here.

Benin
