When is the best time to go?
For the northern circuit (Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Meru) from November through to February. For the southern circuit (Selous, Ruaha) the opposite is true and the best time is August through to Ocotber.

Can I combine my safari with the beach?
Most definitely. There are number of options open to you including Zanzibar, Mafia, Pemba and Northern Mozambique.

When is the migration in the Serengeti?
January to February.

Can I see chimpanzees?
Yes, either at Greystoke or Gombe Stream.

Are there tsetse flies?
Only in the southern section and in the dry season they are not too much of a problem.

Do you use open vehicles?
Not usually but some camps do have them (e.g. CC Africa camps and Sanctuary Lodges).
