Estancia Huechahue lies 70 kms east of the picturesque town of San Martin de los Andes, on the Alumine and Collon Cura rivers. The Estancia is a typical Andean working cattle ranch run by an Anglo-Argentinian family who will look after you as guests in their home.
The Estancia has two guesthouses with 8 en suite rooms able to accommodate 16 people in total. Estancia Huechahue has a wide range of activities and exciting excursions on offer from which you choose, including half to 6 day riding expeditions, trekking to ancient Indian burial caves and condor nests, excellent fly fishing for trout, rafting in inflatables down the Alumine River and birdwatching. At certain times of the year you may be lucky enough to see flocks of up to thirty condors balancing on the thermals, a stunning sight particularly in late afternoon.
However, Estancia Huechahue main specialisation and for which Jane Williams, your indomitable host, has carved an excellent reputation for is the quality of the riding provided in stunning Andean landscape.
